ObjectiveCreate centralized dashboards that transformed marketing and business data into actionable insights, enabling faster decision-making across campaigns, sales, customer acquisition, and retention.

The Challenge

Marketing activities were spread across multiple channels—Meta Ads, Google Ads, website traffic, WhatsApp campaigns, offline activations, Amazon, social media, and sales teams. While each platform provided its own reports, there wasn't a single place to understand the complete customer journey or answer simple business questions like:

  • Which campaign generated the best leads?
  • Which marketing channel delivered the highest ROI?
  • Where were customers dropping off?
  • Which creatives performed best?
  • Which products generated the highest revenue?
  • How were subscriptions growing month-over-month?

Without a unified reporting system, decision-making relied on assumptions instead of data.

The Insight

Good marketing doesn't end when a campaign goes live. The real value comes from understanding what worked, why it worked, and how those insights can improve the next campaign. I wanted reporting to become a decision-making tool rather than just a collection of numbers.

The Strategy

I developed structured growth dashboards that consolidated marketing, sales, and customer performance into a single view. Instead of tracking isolated metrics, the dashboards focused on the complete growth funnel— from awareness to acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue. This allowed leadership teams to quickly identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring immediate attention.

My Role

I designed the dashboard framework and determined which metrics mattered most for each business objective. My responsibilities included:

  • Identifying key business KPIs
  • Structuring dashboard layouts
  • Consolidating data from multiple sources
  • Defining marketing and sales metrics
  • Tracking campaign performance
  • Monitoring customer acquisition and retention
  • Creating executive-level reports
  • Presenting insights for strategic decision-making
  • Reviewing trends and recommending optimizations

Dashboard Framework

Marketing Performance Dashboard

This dashboard tracked the effectiveness of paid and organic marketing activities. Metrics included:

  • Campaign performance
  • Reach & impressions
  • Click-through rate (CTR)
  • Cost Per Click (CPC)
  • Cost Per Lead (CPL)
  • Conversion Rate
  • Creative performance
  • Audience performance
  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Budget utilization

This enabled quicker identification of high-performing campaigns and opportunities for optimization.

Customer Acquisition Dashboard

To understand how customers moved through the marketing funnel, I tracked:

  • Website visitors
  • Landing page conversions
  • Qualified leads
  • Trial sign-ups
  • Subscription conversions
  • New customer acquisition
  • Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • Lead source analysis

This provided visibility into which channels were generating the most valuable customers.

Subscription & Retention Dashboard (Naturally Good)

Since Naturally Good operates on a subscription model, retention was just as important as acquisition. Key metrics included:

  • Active subscribers
  • Monthly subscription growth
  • Renewals
  • Repeat orders
  • Churn rate
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
  • Referral performance
  • Customer engagement trends

These insights helped evaluate long-term customer relationships rather than just one-time purchases.

Sales Dashboard

I monitored commercial performance through metrics such as:

  • Revenue by product category
  • Best-selling products
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales
  • Sales by channel
  • Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Seasonal performance
  • Festival campaign sales
  • Marketplace performance

This connected marketing efforts directly to business outcomes.

Creative Performance Dashboard

Since creative quality significantly influences campaign performance, I tracked:

  • Best-performing ad creatives
  • Video vs static performance
  • Carousel engagement
  • Hook effectiveness
  • Creative fatigue
  • Engagement Rate
  • Cost by creative
  • Conversion by creative type

These insights informed future creative strategy and A/B testing.

Tools & Platforms

Depending on the campaign and reporting needs, I worked with data from:

  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Shopify
  • Amazon Seller Central
  • CRM platforms
  • Excel & Google Sheets
  • Internal sales reports
  • Social media analytics

The focus was on bringing these data points together into dashboards that were easy for both marketing and leadership teams to understand.

Marketing Principles Applied

Data-Driven Decision Making

Marketing decisions were based on measurable insights rather than assumptions, enabling more effective budget allocation and campaign optimization.

Full-Funnel Analytics

Instead of evaluating campaigns solely on impressions or clicks, the dashboards measured performance across the entire customer journey—from awareness to retention.

Performance Optimization

Continuous monitoring allowed underperforming campaigns to be identified early and optimized before significant budget was spent.

Executive Reporting

Dashboards translated complex marketing data into clear business insights, helping stakeholders quickly understand performance and make informed decisions.

Continuous Improvement

By reviewing trends over time, the dashboards supported a culture of testing, learning, and ongoing optimization across campaigns and channels.

Business Impact

The growth dashboards became an essential tool for monitoring marketing effectiveness and business performance. The initiative contributed to:

  • Improved visibility into marketing and sales performance
  • Faster identification of high-performing campaigns
  • Better alignment between marketing spend and business outcomes
  • More informed budget allocation
  • Enhanced collaboration between marketing, sales, and leadership teams
  • Stronger reporting for campaign reviews and strategic planning
  • A scalable framework that could be adapted across multiple brands and growth initiatives

Marketing generates value only when it informs better decisions.
